Hello Readers. I decided to clean out my closet and go through some clothes that I had not been wearing. I found this casual knit skirt that I refashioned way back in 2017.
I added the gray ruffle when I made the gray shirt way back when.
I added this gray ruffle to the hem of this skirt and it was great for a while. I ruined the matching gray shirt a while back and just hadn't worn the skirt since.
I decided to cut off the ruffle. I didn't want to unpick the stitches so I just cut it off. It was right on the edge of the skirt so I wasn't really cutting that much length off.
I turned the cut edge under and made a new hem. (Basically I returned the skirt to it's original state.)
I thought it was perfect for this Baby Yoda/Grogu t-shirt. They both had the same heather gray color.
The skirt is now a simple straight skirt and I liked how it turned out. Sometimes simple is the answer. Thanks for reading along, now go make something fun for yourself.
***Year End Update- I liked this simplified skirt a lot. It was clean and easy to wear.
